MACHAL’S ALUMNAE GUIDANCE SERVICE

Michlalah is proud to be entering its 6^th year of service for its Machal graduates throughout the world. Mrs. Dina Schoonmaker offers “Michlalah Style” advice and hadracha. Holding her bachelor’s degree from Michlalah’s Judaic Studies and English Departments, and a master’s degree in Jewish History, Mrs. Schoonmaker is rich in experience as a veteran staff member and one of the original rakazot, Machal student mentors.

The continuum of relationship between Michlalah and its students has added a new and vital dimension. The unique atmosphere Michlalah provides in Israel, for its present students, is expanded with this service.

You, our Machal graduate, can turn to Mrs. Schoonmaker about a variety of many important issues that former Michlala students face, including: readjustment to Chutz Laaretz, family issues, dating, career choices, engagement, ”shana rishona” of marriage etc.
